Welcome to The Climate Blog! This site is intended to address all aspects of climatology and climate change, including climatic processes and dynamics, global warming, energy issues and technology, politics and policy, paleoclimates (warm and cold), glaciers and other landscapes, ecology and the environment. The Climate Blogger is decidedly not a climate skeptic, though the goal is to provide a forum for people of varying opnions to share their thoughts and reactions; in other words, all readers are welcome and encouraged.

The Climate Blog is written by Jacquelyn Gill, a graduate student at UW Madison in the Geography Department. She is currently studying climate change and ecology at the end of the last ice age to better understand how landscapes respond to changes in biodiversity and environmental conditions.
